The Ningxia Helan Mountains have a very deep bond with the beautiful horses that, in ancient times, were integral to life in the mountains, and which the local people named ‘Helan’. Kanaan Owner Wang Fang is therefore proud to pay tribute to the Mountain’s namesake with her icon wine, ‘Black Beauty.’

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Black Beauty has aromas of red cherry, violet, flint and spices. The mouth is characterised by fresh, perfectly ripe flavours of red cherry and blueberry.

'Helan' in ancient language translates to 'black horse.' This wine is full of power and vitality, having been refined over time to become a classic. Black Beauty also symbolises our tribute to the sacred protection of Helan Mountain, bringing hope.
