Clos de L'Oratoire Des Papes — Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge — 2022 — 750ml

Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre

This wine has a clean, brilliant color. The nose is complex, bearing the scars of late summer hail. Aromas of ripe fruit, prunes, figs, strawberries and pepper, as well as hints of dried flowers, hay and dried fruit (almonds), add a beautiful aromatic complexity. On the palate, this is a concentrated wine where the smoothness of Grenache is balanced by precise tannins.
